ABOUT ELEFTERIAI trained in traditional Thai massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand, gaining deep insight into the therapeutic power of touch. I began my training with Mama Lek Chaiya in 2003, and then I attended the formal Thai Massage training in Old Medicine Hospital.
I have traveled many times in Thailand, and have attended classes with other traditional healers as well. Over the years, I have written extensively on these topics and taught hundreds of students in various massage therapy modalities. I have also attended a Nurse's training in anatomy, physiology and pathology, as well as courses in Osteopathy for massage therapists. As an adept forager and herbal medicine instructor since 2004 (specializing in Chinese herbal medicine and tongue diagnosis), I also teach courses that blend traditional wisdom with modern applications, helping people harness the power of plants for health and well-being. Beyond teaching, I’ve practiced yoga and meditation extensively and draw inspiration from my travels, particularly in Asia. |
